ARCHECO · TOKYO STUDIO
Archeco is a Tokyo-based design studio specialising in ink-reduction packaging for FMCG brands. We work directly with print shops and konbini buyers.
A package that has to work with two inks holds its identity. A package with five inks hides behind them.
If your design fails at one meter in a convenience store, it fails. We test against that, not against design press.
Removing ink doesn't dilute a brand, it lightens the print bill while the brand keeps working. Most of what we call brand is decoration.
AI is a tool. It helps us draft faster, test more directions, fail cheaper. It doesn't replace the judgment of a designer who has been on shelf rounds.
We aim for design that holds in 2030, in 2038. If it works only in 2026, we did our work badly.
We don't pitch decks. We read your line, choose a single reduction direction, and take it to a press-ready file that survives konbini lighting and shelf clutter.
We read your existing dieline and inks, and find where the ink budget is actually spent, before touching the design.
We commit to a single reduction level and take it far, rather than hedging across three safe options that say nothing.
You leave with a press-ready dieline your printer can open, not a mockup. Named plates, cut contour, bleed, trim.
This page is who we are. For what the work does on a line like yours, see the worked concept and the three levels.
